CAAA offers this program for alumni who wish to represent CAAA and UC Davis in their local communities. These volunteers serve as points of contact for other alumni, students and parents in their communities and as local experts and hosts when CAAA, UC Davis or the University of California system plans an event in their region. Regional contacts serve alumni populations in a specified geographic region not served by a chartered chapter. Interest-based contacts would represent a group not currently served by a chartered special interest chapter. The contact is also encouraged to welcome and help familiarize fellow Aggies moving into the area and to occasionally provide alumni in their community with an opportunity to socialize and network.
