Cal Aggie Student Alumni Network (CASAN)

CASAN is a student organization sponsored by the Cal Aggie Alumni Association. CASAN gives students an opportunity to strengthen their connection to UC Davis and its alumni. Opportunities include networking with alumni, involvement with campus events and community service in a fun and social environment. Our members demonstrate Aggie Pride through their involvment across campus and with CASAN.

Student CASAN members have the opportunity to participate in activities not open to the general student body, such as career panels, mixers with the Cal Aggie Alumni Association Board of Directors, student recruitment activities, black tie-events and dinners with distinguished alumni. CASAN members are also Collegiate Members of the Cal Aggie Alumni Association.

Alumni who participate in CASAN activities provide guidance, career advice, and practical experience to UC Davis' finest students. Popular programs sponsored by CASAN include the Aggie Diner and Take An Aggie To Lunch. To participate as an alum, you are asked to host a meal at your home for a small group of students and faculty who share common interests or to host a student for lunch at a local restaurant. These meals are meant to be a casual, social experience.

CASAN is one of over 300 student alumni associations throughout the United States. Student members, will be able to participate in regional and national conferences. CASAN members have traveled the western states to attend District VII Association of Student Advancement Programs conferences. Students from other colleges throughout Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada and Utah also attend the conferences.
